Research studies have shown that the best results in treatment of cancer have been obtained through the combination of conventional and naturopathic therapy approaches. For example, the World Health Organization and National Institutes of Health recommend that acupuncture be used for chemotherapy side-effects, such as nausea.
Dr. Kitaeff has received advanced training in naturopathic methods of cancer support treatment. One of these methods is the use of specific evidence-based nutritional and botanical substances that have been shown through experimental research and clinical experience to enhance effects of tumor reduction, immune strengthening, destruction of cancer cells, and decrease in the spread of these cells.
Another method is European medical spa-style therapy, utilizing methods such as constitutional hydrotherapy, lymphatic drainage massage, colonic irrigation and infra-red sauna. These physical methods of internal cleansing always accompany cleansing or anti-inflammatory diets that eliminate common foods that promote the inflammatory process of cancer.
Acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine are important components of the cancer support program because of their thousands of years of success in strengthening the immune system, controlling pain and having other specific cancer-fighting properties, now confirmed by decades of medical research. Mora and Bemer Electromagnetic Field Therapy have also been included in the program because of their history of success in European clinics in cell regeneration and regulation.
Naturopathic and acupuncture services at New Health Medical Center are carefully coordinated with conventional therapy directed by medical oncologists, so as only to enhance and not to conflict with such therapy.

I am on Cobra coverage through UHA – having just been in process of moving back to mainland from Maui, HI. On mainland this insurance is accessed through First Health Network. Does your clinic accept this insurance?
Thank you,
